ANNOUNCEMENT! The GlobalGoldfishNetwork will be holding it's 1st Annual Online Show and Competition in January. You must be a registered member of the GGN board to enter or vote. Each registered member is permitted up to 3 entries at no charge, any additional entries will require a $1.00 fee per fish which will be used towards the community chest. No single fish can be entered in more than 2 categories. Ribbons will be awarded in each Group and Category for First, Second and Third Place. A trophy or medallion will be presented to the winner of "Best of Show". Start preparing your fish now. Following are the Groups and Categories for our first show. Groups: Body Length (not including tail) Under 3", 3" - 6" and Over 6" Categories:
Ranchu Oranda Pearlscale (traditional, no headgrowth, short finnage) Pearlscale (exotic varieites) Ryukins Fantails "Tailed" varieties (Veiltails, Ribbontails, Butterfly tails, Broad tails) Bubble eyes, Celestials Other "eye'd" types (Moors, Telescopes, Demekins) Single Caudal Fin types Other types (Tosakin, Jinkin, etc.) Most Unusual Best of Show (all first place winners will be judged for this award)
